Mr. Yany Kwan is the president of the Macau-Shenzhen Economic and Cultural Promotion Association and a witness and practitioner of cooperation between Shenzhen and Macau. In 2025, he was selected as a torchbearer for the Shenzhen division of the 15th National Games, serving as the 44th torchbearer. 

Mr. Yany Kwan been in Shenzhen for more than twenty years since coming from Macau and has long promoted cooperation between Shenzhen and Macau, viewing it as a personal responsibility. He believes that the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is like one family, and the 15th National Games is a good opportunity to promote regional unity and development.

As an important promoter of Shenzhen-Macau cooperation, Mr. Yany Kwan has made active contributions to the economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two regions through various channels, including civil organizations and the CPPCC platform.
